How much do dental implants cost in Türkiye?

A single implant starts at about $400 in Türkiye against roughly $4,500 in the United States. The number is real. What matters is what sits around it.

How much do dental implants cost in Türkiye?

What a single implant costs

The implant itself — the titanium screw placed into the jaw — starts at around $400 with a Turkish system such as Nucleoss or Implance. A Korean system like Osstem sits slightly higher. European systems, Straumann and Nobel Biocare in particular, run from roughly $700 to $900.

That figure is for placement only. It does not include the crown that eventually sits on top, which is a separate item at $160 to $220 for zirconium.

So a finished single implant — screw, abutment and crown — realistically lands between $560 and $1,100 depending on the system you choose. Anyone quoting a single number without telling you which of those three parts it covers is not giving you a price.

What the quote must include

A complete implant quote covers six things: the implant fixture, the abutment, the final crown, the panoramic X-ray or CT scan, the surgical placement itself, and the follow-up appointments during your stay.

Three items are commonly left out and then added later. Bone grafting is the big one — if your jaw has resorbed after a tooth has been missing for years, you need bone before you can have an implant, and that is $250 to $600 per site. A sinus lift on upper posterior teeth is similar.

The second omission is the temporary crown you wear during osseointegration. The third is the second trip, which on standard implant cases is not optional.

Full-arch pricing

Full-arch cases are where the arithmetic changes character. All-on-4 for both jaws runs $7,040 to $12,880 in Türkiye against something near $52,000 in the United States.

The range within Türkiye is wide because it reflects genuinely different things: the implant brand, whether the final bridge is acrylic or zirconia, and whether grafting is needed. An acrylic provisional bridge on four Turkish implants sits at the bottom of that range. A zirconia final bridge on six Straumann implants sits at the top, and they are not the same treatment.

The costs that are not dentistry

Flights from the United States run $700 to $1,200 return depending on season and departure city. From the UK or Western Europe, $150 to $400.

Accommodation for a week is $400 to $900 for something comfortable in Istanbul. Many clinics include hotel nights and airport transfers in their package, which is worth confirming in writing rather than assuming.

Implant cases need two trips separated by three to four months. Budget the travel twice. That single fact reshapes the total more than any difference in implant brand.

A worked example

Four implants with zirconium crowns, using a Korean system, with no grafting required: roughly $2,400 of dentistry. Add two return flights from the US at $1,000 each and ten hotel nights across both trips at $600, and the total is about $5,000.

The same treatment in the United States is somewhere near $18,000. The saving holds even after the travel is counted twice.

Run the same sum for one crown at $180 and it collapses. You would spend six times the treatment cost getting to it. Small cases are not worth flying for, and an honest agency will tell you so.

Why two quotes differ

When two clinics quote the same case at very different prices, the gap almost always sits in one of four places: an unnamed implant system, grafting excluded, a provisional bridge presented as the final restoration, or the second trip left unpriced.

None of these is necessarily dishonest. But you cannot compare two quotes until you know which of the four applies. Ask both clinics for the implant brand by name and a written list of what the quote excludes. The cheaper one is often still cheaper afterwards — you just want to know that before you fly, not after.

Common questions

Yes, for the implant fixture alone with a Turkish-made system. It does not include the crown, which adds $160 to $220. Premium European systems such as Straumann run $700 to $900 for the fixture.

Usually not. Implant and crown are normally quoted as separate line items because the crown is fitted months later on the second trip. Always ask whether a quoted figure is for the fixture only or the finished tooth.

Osseointegration — the bone fusing to the implant — takes three to four months and cannot be shortened. The first trip places the implant, the second fits the permanent crown. Only certain cases qualify for same-day loading.

Grafting adds roughly $250 to $600 per site and can extend healing before the implant is placed. Whether you need it is visible on a CT scan, which is why sending a scan before you book matters.
